Glove Compartment is the piano laden solo project from 'The Candle Thieves' keyboard wizard The Glock aka Anthony Shiels. Hailing from the suburbs of Cambridgeshire, England. Glove Compartment creates pint sized symphonies centered around the intricacies of Anthony's piano playing blended with a touch of dry wit and at times brutal lyricism. The band name was born from Anthony's habit of recording home demos and housing them in the glove compartment of his hatchback for reference. The debut release 'The Art Of Pretending' was was met in 2019 with love and support from the people of China. 'Shall We Draw Big Love Hearts' is the eagerly awaited follow up album. It sees Anthony firing on all cylinders both as a writer and a piano player. The songs are full of love, humour and sadness. Poised to make you both laugh and cry.
