"TechWarrior" was voted as the 6th best track of the month in Corsten's Countdown in April. TechWarrior The experimental project Synthika, formed by Tempo Giusto and Ima'gin, best known of their grinding tech trancers, present their new futuristic EP 'TechWarrior', which continues in the same genre. Combining some snapping cut minimal percs with massive synths and sombre tech sounds, 'TechWarrior' paints a vast soundspace for any hall DJ. The deep riding bassline grinds on mercilessly through the track. A more trancey breakdown builds up into an explosive release of sweeping horns and rebounding echos, which finally mute into the outro. 2. Der Totentanz The second track of the EP, 'Der Totentanz', is a truly radical 3/4 signature experiment, unheard of in electronic music, but with centuries of tradition in dances. The track has a 4/4 signature intro and outro for mixing purposes but the main part will deliver a guaranteed surprise for any crowd with its trippy tribal rhythm. While the rhythm alone is peculiar, the percs are rather minimalistic and melodies grand. 'Der Totentanz' is for DJs who aren't afraid to try something totally new!
