Undulate emerges once again to drop their second release of the summer - Frank Naht's Spin The Mind w/ remixes by [Aura] and Andrew Soul. Frank Naht, one of the sleepers in Undulate's stable, delivers an impeccable 2 tracker that showcases his remarkable deep tech style. Frank skillfully separates this EP from the pack of 'run of the mill' tech house offerings by brilliantly infusing a unique and provocative deep house vibe - which some might say has become the signature sound of the talented producers hailing from Naht's home base, Bari IT. On remix duties for the B-side track, Tact Recordings Chief Rocka, Jordan Bruce aka [Aura], brightens up the tone a bit and transforms 'Peace Of Soul' from a heads-down, backroom groover to a more functional number that's ripe for the main floor; complete with firm drums and a raw-edged bass line that's got just the right amount of bounce. Fellow Bari native, Andrew Soul, contributes a solid rework of 'Spin The Mind'; and it does just that. Mr. Soul's 'Spin My 707' remix is an acid-filled mind scramble that oozes a nostalgic analog vibe. He expertly layers a variation of the melody over a huge acid bass line and tripped out vocal - the result is an ode to old school acid house that hits all the right marks.
