Still Life With Motion Sickness is the third album from American-born singer-songwriter and visual artist Jon Campbell. The album defies easy categorization, with its 10 tracks moving between indie-folk and country pop, while also delving into alternative rock with "Fool's Gold", or experimenting with non-traditional time signatures in "Ukrainian Blood". Campbell’s original arrangements include guitar, mandolin, piano, upright bass, electric bass, trombone, trumpet, french horn, accordion, and drums.

Still Life explores themes of ancestral guidance and reconciliation, taking the lessons learned from the inward journey of Jon’s two previous albums and using that knowledge to break free of destructive cycles and heal ancestral wounds. The album is an homage to those who have enabled Jon on his creative journey, whether through artistic inspiration, instruction or guidance. Still Life is an offering of love and gratitude to teachers past and present.
