Jessika Brust and Andre DiMuzio (AD'M) met during a Jazz class in university.

They began making music in 2011, when they recorded a cover of Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep' in Jess's kitchen. From there, they decided to take it a further step. Andre wrote 'Snow in April' for Jess, and they recorded that and it's follow up, 'The Fall' the next summer.

In 2013, they sat at a piano together, and wrote and arranged three more songs. By the end of 2013, The Hourglass had an EP,

Jess currently sings on a Cruise Liner, and Andre works as a producer in the UK. The Hourglass continues to make music, over land, over seas.
