Mona Warner has been singing, writing songs and playing guitar since the late sixties. With a heavy influence from friends and relatives from south of the border she writes in both English and Spanish and uses music to teach young children the joy of learning. Her original songs are refreshing. The collection of Children's songs in Spanish, Salta A Cantar, starts with an upbeat song about tossing fruits and ends with a bilingual song of World Peace. Numerous teachers throughout the northwest, where Mona leads educational workshops, have been successfully using this delightful collection for over twenty years when the original song book was published.
