Daniel's Debut album Self Titled Tenor was released to coincide with the 50th Anniversary UK tour of West SIde Story! Born in Australia, Daniel studied at the Conservatorium of Music at Adelaide University, he then moved to London and was awarded a place on the Musical Theatre Post Graduate Course at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, graduating with an MA in 2005. Daniel most recently performed as part of the West End Chorus in Tim Rices' own version of CHESS in concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Josh Groban, Idina Menzel and Kerry Ellis were but a few of the names that made this production particularly spectacular. www.chessthemusical.com Since graduating Daniel has been seen as the lead role in Jason and the Argonauts and as a Principal cast member in Pacific Overtures at the Leicester Haymarket. In 2006 Daniel was part of the cast in the Scandinavian Tour of CHESS the Arena musical and also understudied the lead role, Frederick Trumper. Daniel has just recently finished the International tour of Saturday Night Fever where he played Father Frank Jnr and also understudied DJ Monty, this tour took him to both Korea and Taipei. Whilst in Australia, Daniel produced his own intimate, self titled cabaret, as well as working with numerous productions at the Brenton Langbein Theatre in Tanunda playing lead roles in My Fair Lady and The Mikado, these performances earned him a Young Achievers Award in 2003 and the coveted Young Artist Scholarship program with the State Opera of South Australia. He was also fortunate enough to be selected to sing the Phantom role in Highlights from The Phantom of the Opera for the Barossa Music Festival. Other credits include Songs for a New World and a season touring with the Netherlands ReisOpera company, during this time he performed a lead role in the National Youth Opera Festival in Amsterdam. Daniel was also recently a finalist in the BBC Voice of Musical Theatre Competition in Cardiff, Wales.
