Madre Monte has always found inspiration in the myths, folklore and music of Colombia, with a focus on taking these ideas and making something that is contemporary and representative of their new home, Australia. With this new production they have mastered this blend, with lyrics in English and Spanish, multiple native and contemporary rhythms and a touch of electronic sounds to top it off.

Madre Monte enlisted the production talents of

Oscar Jimenez (Watussi/Amaru Tribe), who packed and set up his studio in a farm in the Victorian bush to capture the band in a more relaxed and natural setting.
