What You Are is a five track album of bluesy based rock pop songs written Deborah Dicembre and produced by Dicembre and Douglas Weaver. The title is an abbreviation of the title track, 'I'm So Into What You Are'. Doug plays guitar on all the tracks and at the time they recorded this CD the band was doing a lot of live shows. It makes for a very real band feel especially on tracks like Valentines Day Blues, that takes no prisoners as Dicembres' vocal rips and soars, just as Dougs' guitar does the same. Ralph Marshall plays bass and is always a powerful addition to Deborah's music. His energy and musicality are palpable. With Glen Wilson on drums the four piece is complete. A cracking five song EP that takes you on a journey from the dreamy sound of 'Blue' and 'Closer' the beckoning 'Follow Me' and the explosive, ' Valentines Day Blues'. I'm So Into What You Are, is a testimony to the versatility of a girl brought up on 70's pop, and raised on the thick resonate gospel blues sound, found evident on this album.
