Inspired by the vibe of early Blues recordings, live analogue tape sounds and songs that are never played the same way twice, ‘Spacejunk’ is an adventure into the frontiers of Future Blues, going where Other Bands Have Gone Before! This is live to 2 track ¼” and 8 track ½” tape stock, recorded on location in a 100 year old wooden hall and an inner Sydney studio, the Spacejunk EP features classics from the era of the Space Race as well as Explorations in New Blues, with songs influenced by Mali, Swamp and Stomp. Mastered to tape and featuring that great fat warm analogue sound, this is a live band getting on the groove and staying there for the thrill of it.
