Sacred Works, Volume 1 is my fourth CD, but unlike the first three, it contains six traditional works which I have arranged and orchestrated. "O Holy Night" (Choral Version) has an elaborate intro and conclusion with extended interludes between the Soloist verses. It is considerably longer than the Soloist version and you can hear it in its entirety along with "It Is Well with My Soul", instead of just 30 second clips. This last work is also extended with new choral material and an ending which incorporates Harp Glissandi, Strings and Men's Choir on a mystical variation of the refrain. I hope it engenders a lofty ambience: a glimpse into a Divine perspective of Life; something beyond the merely human, which may be Eternal and unsoiled by the effects of Time.
