Hoops by Ken Stephenson explores the musical boundaries of improvisation. Inspirational, haunting instrumentation is set to a backdrop of meditative rhythmic patterns. Ken is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, recording engineer with his own studio in Melbourne, Australia. Amongst other musical projects he has been writing and recording a series of instrumental albums. In 2010 he released The Sunset Clause. Hoops features haunting tenor sax solos by Aria Stone, trumpet by Bradley Slow and drums by Lee Davidson.
