Hot off his November 2016 sophomore album release, Calgary’s Hello Moth is back with his next offering – Take This Away. Written, recorded and produced by Hello Moth, the song showcases his energetic diversity as soft shifting piano chords erupt into a cathartic club beat to underscore lyrics that embrace ambiguity, sensuality and dark wit.

"This song is a puzzle to me," Hello Moth admits, "but I like that it doesn't clearly explain itself. Having different ways to interpret the lyrics is exciting to me. What is 'this,' who is 'daughter?' I can imagine many answers to those questions. It's also musically different from my previous releases in that I produced it with fewer references to my live arrangement. I like to think I'm creating challenges for myself that will force me to explore new kinds of work in the future."
