Santa Maria Hotel is the album I always wanted to make -- ever since I was a kid back in Alabama, listening to Hank and Haggard when my contemporaries were into Zeppelin and The Ramones. Country Music, real Country Music, is what brought me to Nashville in the first place, and these songs are a product of my passion for the genre.
