Centrifuge consists of three members, Peter Albrektsen (guitar and keyboards), Sam Hall (Bass and Vocals), and Denis Banko. As this line up, we have played together since early 2013. Our music is primarily Progressive Rock, with many elements of Classic Rock, Funk, 80's rock, Jazz Fusion, and even Reggae flavours combined. About half our songs are instrumentals, and we focus on strong melodies, odd time signature changes, freeform and structured solo's to keep the audience engaged. Between all of us our combined influences are bands as diverse as Rush, Level 42, Van Halen, Kiss, Genesis, YES, IQ, The Lens, Steven Wilson, Camel, and the list goes on and on. Basically any band where attention to melody and quality of musicianship come first.
