The Stranjjur Imprint is proud to present our debut EP from the amazing Italian duo, Lula Circus. Lula Circus has been dropping many vinyl-only gems over the past year working together, and we proudly welcome Danilo and Sergio as the pioneers behind the sound of our debut label release, the Miami Vices EP. <p> Coming with a strong 80's Miami vibe (but keeping a strong modern production quality), the Miami Vices EP features 4 disco-tinged party monsters; with the title cut, Miami Vice, leading the way with it's heavy bass, tightly-programmed drums, and funky keys. <p> The package is fortified by stellar remixes from two of the world's hottest producers at the moment: Freerange and OM mastermind, Pezzner remixes "Pumpin Groovin Moovin" and delivers a late-night floor burner, which has already been receiving lots of hype, after being played by Maya Jane Coles on her BBC Radio One Essential Mix! <p> We also enlisted the services of our good friend and current man of the moment on the international club circuit, Ovum/Hot Creations wonder kid, M A N I K. Chris was one of first people we sent the EP to after receiving the demo, and he took an immediate liking to Miami Vice and subsequently played it during his Miami and European Tour shows, so we asked him to give it the MANIK-touch, and he delivered an absolutely gorgeous remix, dominated by the original hook, a deep, funky bass line and shimmering arps. <p> Having also recently signed with L.A.'s Culprit crew, it's safe to say that with this EP, Lula Circus is about to take the entire world by storm with their unique and polished sound.
