Influences range from French chanson (C'est La Vie), loop-like Western-African guitars (Allt Har Sin Tid), polyrhythmic bossanova landscapes (Jabuticaba), Cuban scents (As If It's Never Taken Place), pop, reggae, bossanova and the miniature song I Guess It's OK, by this time a standard feature on his albums (comparing these short songs to haiku poems).
