简介
"Passion" shows Schütz' songwriting from his most playful and gentle side, effortlessly merging the influences from pop, latin (Brazil/Cuba) and jazz. A bossanova experiment with chord colorings and sudden accidental flats in the melodies, "Passion" was an unexpected top-seller in Japan at its release, with shops selling several hundreds of copies each by just word of mouth, outselling most major label releases. It was re-issued with a new cover in 2007 with 2 bonus tracks, which are both included here as well. J.C. Schütz – voice and all guitars, percussion, drums, electric bass [4] Micke Sehlstedt – drums & percussion Glenn Fransson – acoustic bass Ingemar Hjertén – accordion [2,6,8,9,12] Niklas Hakegård – piano [2,8,10,13] Olle Bohm – vibraphone [6,9] and guiro Sofia Westlin – flute [1,7] Thomas Fristedt – bongos and congas [1,13] Strings: Anna Hansen – violin [3,7,10] Sara Toftgård – violin [3,7,10] Pelle Hansen – cello [3,7,10] Linn Hjertén – violin [1,10] Ingemar Hjertén – violin [1,10] Produced by Johan Christher Schütz Mixed by J.C.
