Unlike 'The Burial', the previous track, this song is an uptempo one. It covers a relationship with a guy who in his eyes saw the female as 'a good friend' but the female saw it as something more than that. With the guy introducing the fact that he has fallen in love with another woman, leaves the 'friend' with a dilemma of having to walk away.

This song has elements of The Belle Stars (think 'Sign of the Times'), mixed with Bananarama vs Steps and you more or less get the idea of the flavour of this song.
