This album is a compilation of musical pieces created over the last couple of decades. Many pieces were written for particular film projects and others just for pure creative expression. Though many styles are covered and these pieces were not created as originally as an album they are never the less unified by my style. Some are recent and a few date back to the 1980's (like Stormbringer). They never got released before and I felt it was time to share them. Nijole Sparkis sang and helped write "Hail the Sun" which is a Druid Summer Solstice tune created for film maker Kim Kindersley for his "Sacred Fire" film featuring John Hurt. The song "ISIS" is a modern tribute to the Egyptian Goddess ISIS. Vocalist Molly Pasutti sings in ancient Egyptian with words taken from the Egyptian Book of the Dead. Vocalist kaRIN of the band Collide sings on "Worlds Collide", a musical piece that appears on the DVD "Ritual Path" in the loops section. I am featured as a classical guitar soloist on "Alhambra". I piece I recorded in 1994 for the NBC Special "Mysterious Origins of Man" hosted by Charlton Heston that evokes mid-evil Spain under Moorish rule. Suzanne Teng enchants us with her exquisite flute playing on "Lotus", another selection from the DVD "Ritual Path". Gilbert Levy play a masterful Tombek drum on "Giddy Up Camel. A song originally created for film maker Gerard Ungerman for his film "The Oil Factor" All in all, there is great variety and some very inspired moments captured here...
