Jeannette Claudine Romeu is fifth generation of her Jazz and Classically trained musical family. Her discipline comes from early childhood, when Jeannette was only three years old, and started to read and studied Classical piano with her grandmother Zenaida Romeu. Jeannette continued her general music education by attending Russian Music conservatories all throughout her entire childhood. She gave her first Baroque piano concerto when she was only four years of age, and that the same time Jeannette discover her passion for Joan Sebastian Bach and she started to composed her songs at the age of four. Baby Jeanny recorded professionally with a full blown Television Orchestra, singing songs in Spanish and French language directed by her grandmother Zenaida Romeu when she was only four years of age. She continued Singing and acting professionally in television shows from age five, until twelve. The rich melange of her multi cultural and bilingual backgrounds has always been an intense influence in her unique music compositions in her artistic evolution. Her father Armando de Sequeira Romeu was the drummer for famous club "Tropicana", in Havana, Cuba, composer and Co-founder of Afro-Cuban Latin Jazz award winning band named "Iraqueres" with Paquito de Rivera and Chucho Valdez. He was also Jazz drummer for the "Unforgettable" Nat King Cole's album "Nat en Español". Jeannette moved to Madrid, where she continued her classical piano training as well as the Spanish, classical acoustic guitar. Always making good use of her many artistic talents. Wether is painting or making new songs , art comes from within with a natural flow. After living in Europe Jeannette came to New York City and later she attended The University of Miami School of Jazz Piano Performance. Her teachers were: J.B. Dyas, Don Militello, Rosalina Sackstein, Vincent Lawrence De Maggio, Don Coffman, Jeff Laibson, Zulema Romeu, Jazz virtuoso Nat Adderley and his great Jazz Pianist Larry Willis, Miles Davis and Thomas Dowd. Here at the U of M she graduated as a National Honor Student and received many music achievements awards such as the Golden Key to The National Honor Society. Jeannette has recorded fifteen albums of her own in different genres and different languages and has collaborated with other artists and producers such as Thomas Dowd, Kevens, Tina Liu, George Acosta and many other great talent. Today, Jeannette is also Galaxy Girl, a well known record producer and a re-mixer in the Dance, electronic music genre. An artist in her own rights Jeannette has a unique style in her oil paintings as well as in her music. She also has one of the most exiting and rare Live show here on earth.
