Jeannette Claudine Romeu is the fifth generation of her Classical and Jazz musical family. Her discipline comes from early childhood. When Jeannette was only three years old, she studied Classical piano with her grandmother Zenaida Romeu.Jeannette continued her general music education by attending Russian Music conservatories all throughout her childhood.Jeannette gave her first Baroque music piano concerto when she was only four years old and that was the time when Jeannette discover her passion for the Baroque period and started to write her own music compositions at the same age. Baby Jeanny started to sing and act professionally in television shows when she was only four years of age till she was twelve and left the country of Cuba. At the tender age of four, baby Jeanny recorded professionally with a full blown Tv Orchestra, singing songs in Spanish, English and in the French language and directed by her grandmother Zenaida Romeu. The rich melange of her French - Cuban and Spanish background has always been an intense influence in her music in her unique artistic evolution. Her father Armando de Sequeira Romeu was the Jazz drummer for the "unforgettable" Nat King Cole who recorded his albums "Nat en Español", drummer for famous club "tropicana", composer and founder of Afro-Cuban Latin Jazz award winning band Iraqueres in Havana, Cuba. Jeannette moved to Madrid, where she continued her classical piano training and the Spanish, acoustic classical guitar. Jeannette always made good use of her many artistic talents, by always making songs that always came from within with a natural flow and painting also came since early childhood. After Europe Jeannette came to New York City and soon after she attended Miami Dade Community College and later transfered to The University of Miami majoring in Jazz Piano Performance. Her teachers were: J.B. Dyas, Don Militello, Rosalina Sackstein, Vincent Lawrence De Maggio, Don Coffman, Jeff Laibson, Jazz virtuoso Nat Adderley and his great Jazz Pianist Larry Willis. Here at the U of M she became a National Honor Student who received many music awards including the Golden Key to The National Honor Society and the Dean's roll for her outstanding scholastic achievements. Jeannette Claudine has recorded fifteen albums of her own in different genres and different languages and has collaborated with other artists such as Kevens, Tina Liu, George Acosta and many others. Today, Jeannette Claudine Romeu is also known as Galaxy Girl, a well known and prolific record producer, she is an artist of her own rights with unique and exiting Live shows of her own. A natural Singer with an amazing Russian Classical piano training and Jazz piano with beautiful improvisational skills. With intense dexterity she completely dominates the stage right under her fingertips. She is a true master of her many instruments. Galaxy Girl is a multi dimensional performer in other musical instruments such as guitar, bass, and electronic synthesizers as well as in recording engineering. Jeannette accompany Live, Rock Star Buckman Turner Overdrive in hits such as: "You ain't seen nothing yet" and "Taking care of business". During The Ultra Music Festival in March of 2004 The New York Times wrote: "Galaxy Girl is a self styled diva out of a science fiction novel who makes cheerful Trance tracks". Jeannette had the great honor to learned production and engineering next to Legendary record producer Mr.-Thomas Dowd the producer of the Rolling Stones, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, and The Led Zeppelin Mr. Dowd collaborated in many of her Love songs and for many years guided and mentored Jeannette in her home based studio. She also always works on daily bases with dedicated Guru sound design and master engineering Deryck Ragoonanan. Jeannette has shared stages with many Rock and Dance super stars such as Carlos Santana, Erika Badu, Ziggy Marley, Kevens, Crystal Method, Dj Paul Oakenfold, Chemical Brothers, M & M's D12, Dj Paul Van Dyke, Crystal Method, BT, Uberzone, Planet B and many other great talents. With a Number One hit "La Fiesta" in more than a dozen countries, Galaxy Girl is producing another great music track "Anime Girl" with words by Tina Lieu and Jon Jacob. Another super track to be a part of the soundtrack for the up and coming movie "Hey DJ" directed by the young and dynamic British director Jon Jacob. Jeannette Claudine, like a giant living library with the History of the Universe, there are no limits for what she can do and offer as a world's first class musician.
