Kristen Cothron is releasing "This Year's Girl," a re-imagining of an Elvis Costello favorite, in preparation of her 2012 full length release 'Show Me Where the Edge' Is. This is Kristen showing off her biggest influence: Elvis Costello. "This Year's Girl" is the second in a trilogy of Costello numbers. Far from being a simple cover, it's a reintroduction of an artist showcasing where she's coming from and giving a tantalizing glimpse of where she's going.
