The Commons are a Folk band based out of Jacksonville FL. With strong influences from such artist as The Civil Wars, Nickel Creek, and The Decemberists, The Commons bring together raw and haunting harmonies, strong rhythm, and good old’ fashion Americana style music and instrumentation. Their songs are full of energy, tension, and beauty; raw but lovely, lush but stripped.
