简介
I’m In Love, the second single from hot new band The Stagger Rats' debut album Scorpio Leisure is now released. The 13-track album - produced by Owen Morris - is due out in Spring 2012. The first three singles and music videos will be released during Autumn/Winter 2011. The Stagger Rats hail from Edinburgh and were recently signed by Budapest-based record label WP Ents, who brought in Owen Morris to produce the album. Morris has worked previously with international artists such as Oasis, The Verve, The View and Kaiser Chiefs. The band's fresh yet timeless music reflects their charmingly unconventional nature. Daniel, Callum, Jack, Craig and Kai have lived and breathed music together from an early age. Their sound is tight, harmonious and well structured with thoughtful, well-crafted lyrics. The Stagger Rats spent two months in Budapest working on the album and three videos, which all have a quirky British cinematic feel. The videos were shot on location at Brody House, Pannonia Studio (an ex-Warner Bros studio) and the Kincsem Palace in the heart of Budapest which housed the celebrated Kincsem race horse. Fuzzy Fuzzy, released on 11 August, the first single from the album is showing on Virgin On Demand, Propeller TV (Sky Ch195), Voce (Sky Italia), Vox Africa and MTV Hungary. The Stagger Rats favoured by Jim Gellatly and "officially Anne Hathaway's favourite band" (Scotsman) played at various UK festivals including Secret Garden Party, Wickerman and Bestival this summer. They are playing in London at This Feeling on 28 October with Ringo Starr's son's band, the ex-Oasis drummer Zack Starkey. I’m In Love will be available to download on iTunes from 26 October.
