This is the first album recorded by Bemis, the acoustic duo from Portsmouth, England. Recorded in 2007, it features many classics from their live sets, showcasing the mix of vocals of Gareth and Richie, and the strident rhythm guitar of Gareth with the intricate picking of Richie's 12 string guitar. Fan favourites "People Live on" and "Brilliant Fire" bookend the album, and in between these songwriters pull apart the way we behave and sing about what means most to them; the need for change, the love for their partners and children, and the psychological mess that humans sometimes display in their habits.
