简介
This album is the 4th Bemis album - and a more introspective, personal set of songs. The production is stripped down to a duo format, whilst the band were going through line-up changes. Some of the songs are about family members, some are about our personal take on the world. A few of the songs are literally about our own personal demons, and the struggle to rise above how they try to dominate our way of thinking. Many of these songs are now stable parts of our set, and key players in our sound. This album is the first one to feature an instrumental too, with the Richard Leo composition "Home". This was a result of the theme we decided to base the album on, which was also the inspiration for the more confessional songs from Gareth Howells like "Nervous Days" and "Open Wound". The album cover artwork is by the great Hunt Emerson, the legendary British cartoonist who was commissioned to come up with a caricature of Gareth and Richard for the cover. In keeping with the very personal theme of the album, it is produced by Gareth Howells, and recorded by him.
