简介
If you were fooled into believing Harriers Of Discord is a full fledged band, then I did my job well. As a matter of fact, Harriers Of Discord is made up of merely one member, and that member is, not so anonymously, me. After having started various projects in the previous years, the progression- starting from a Lord of the Rings tribute band: The Fellowships, to the riotgrrl-esque Rotguts, and ending in a poorly recorded garage rock band known as The Whole Sha-Bang- has pushed me into creating this album, building onto old passions from once loved genres of my life, combining the sometimes slow moving Old Western power notes, with the fast paced movements of Surf, mushed together in a pot of punk, rock, and in the end some sort of flamenco. All of the instruments played were live recordings (no drums machines), also giving Harriers Of Discord a raw imperfect sound that makes live music what it really is. On the name: It was Steven King's very own Dark Tower series that helped construct the name you see now, as well as Wikipedia for entertaining the bullet points of Discordianism. Of the songs chosen for the album: Some date back to 2007 where as others were written just in 2014. From the inspiration of Garth Ennis' Preacher, to Joseph Merrick: The Elephant man, it was my point to refrain from love songs (mostly because I just plain can't bring myself to write them), and give you various other topics that stray from government politics, cappin' b**ches, and gooey girl gossip. If you enjoy Harriers Of Discord, feel free to contact me. Or not. Your call. If you hate it, I'd love to hear that, too. And if you think it's a man singing, though your reasoning is just, I am in fact not a man. - See more at: http://www.harriersofdiscord.com
