The Artist ---- Gene Jones played harmonica with the greatest harmonica group of all time - Borrah Minevitch's Harmonica Rascals. He was invited to join the group on his 16th birthday, and he toured with the group for two years until Uncle Sam invited him to join the war (WWII). Gene played in the group with Jerry Murad (who later formed the Harmonicats), Pete Pederson, Johnny Puleo, Carl Ford, Ronnie Salzman, Bill Walden and Vito Patierno. Many of the greatest harmonica players of all time came from this group. (Over 100 players were members of this group over its long history).
