Arne Åsmund's songs usually contain terrible stories about violence and murder, narrated by a diverse selection of psycotic perpetrators. Failing to see the negative consequences of their actions, the protagonists versions of their own stories are often joyful in both lyrics and melody. In concert the songs are always presented with a lot of warmth and humour. This contrast in presentation and content is what make these songs such an interesting listen.
