The members of “Irish Roots” are: Paul Gillespie (acoustic guitar, vocals) Mary Kennedy (fiddle, mandolin, vocals) Brent Schneider (bodhran, vocals) Andrew Vanhorn (bass, acoustic guitar, vocals) Hailing from Kingston, Ontario, this diverse group of performers plays a mix of traditional and contemporary Celtic music including some country tunes (Cash, Buffet, Earle). Delighting crowds with their harmony, humour and unabashed charm, this group is sure to please. “The Irish Roots” is branching out and can currently be found touring venues in Ontario, as far east as Smith Falls (Kilt & Castle), and as far west as Whitby (The Dubliner Pub).
