Marianne Solberg is a singer songwriter and producer born and raised in Norway. She started recording melodies and lyrics that came to her at an early age, but it´s not until now she made the effort of making and recording an album (that´s why the title of her first album is of course «Procrastinated»). Her life has always been filled with music though. She´s been working as a singer and performing artist for over a decade. Head hunted for the Norwegian tv show «Beat for Beat», she got a flying start on her singing career. Lots of dinnershows later, she found it was time to record some of her ideas for real. «Procrastinated» is a sweet mix of the songs that first came to life in Marianne´s home studio. With a little help from Bjørn Erik Pedersen (technician), Jørun Bøgeberg (bass), Marius Graff (guitars), Vegard Fossum (drums), Rolf Øyvind Hæg (drums), Geir Langslet (keys) and Lars Follestad (keys) she completed the soundscape that she had in mind for her first album. It´s organic and bare naked. Most of the songs are recorded live in studio. Marianne Solberg loves jazz, pop, rock, soul and reggae. Her music is inspired by all these genres. ENJOY!
