Over the past 8 years singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Maurice Kilday has produced 10 albums from his home studio in the Scottish Borders. Each album has been different, varying from 3 minute pop songs to full blown concept albums. This time it’s jazz tinged AOR and Maurice tips his hat to some of his early influences; Todd Rundgren, Steely Dan, Thin Lizzy, Bill Nelson, Jeff Beck and David Gilmour. As ever, the guitar solos are smooth, restrained and melodic. And for the first time we hear Maurice playing a semi-acoustic guitar as well as his trademark daphne blue strat.
