Becci was born in Chillagoe hospital on 6th March 1997. She attended Chillagoe State School for her primary education, and now attends Saint Monica’s College in Cairns, where she is completing year 12. Becci has always shown a keen interest in music. As she has grown up, her love for Country music has become very apparent, but she also enjoys many geonrors . Becci began guitar lessons from her Grandad Fred Burdell when she was just 8 years old. She has been performing at festivals all over Queensland and in Tamworth since then. Becci is a graduate from the 2012 Junior Academy of Country Music and she continues to use the additional knowledge that she has obtained from her attendance at the academy to prepare for upcoming performances and events. Rebecca performs regularly with the Tableland Country Music Club, the Walkamin Country Music Club, at various venues across the Tablelands and in her home town. She is also in a band know as Madichi. Becci placed 2nd in Queensland for the 2013, Champion of Champions competition (held in Brisbane), in the Junior female section. Hence she secured a spot in the Muster marquee at the Gympie Muster in August this year. Becci has recently recorded her first EP with Tamworth Producer Greg Williams, it's a four tracks EP and two of the songs are originals, it will be launched at The Tamworth Festival in January 2015. Whilst in Sydney in April, Becci auditioned at the Academy of Muic and Performing Arts, and she has received her "letter of offer" to commence her Bachelor of Music Degree (performance) in 2015. Becci loves meeting new people and performing where and when ever she can. Becci will be heading back to the Tamworth Country Music Festival in January 2015 for the 3rd year running.
