J. F. Oakes released his first solo album, "Acknowledge The Corn" in 2014, after over 20 years in and around the music business and having released two albums with Southern Rockers The 484 South Band. This will be his first Christmas single release. The country-twang inspired tune lies somewhere between THE CRASH TEST DUMMIES and ROBERT EARL KEEN with a side helping of Jerry Jeff Walker. It's an upbeat tune sharing Oakes' remembrances of his South Mississippi Christmases past. He will have a second, more traditional Christmas single released shortly after. The release will be a stripped down acoustic version of "I Heard The Bells on Christmas Day." Keep an eye out. And don't forget to leave reviews if you like the songs!
