We can't help but take notice, which is why Emote Music brings the fantastic production duo of DisplayFM onto the label with two brilliant, original works. Habersham and Oban fill out the remix duties on this four-song EP. 1) DisplayFM - Black Snow Organic minimal techno is probably the best way to describe the sound of Black Snow. A subtle melody carries the song in parts while layers of percussion pan across the speakers in the title track of the EP. 2) DisplayFM - Black Snow (Habersham's Down the Rabbit Hole Remix)Atlanta's Habersham re-appears on Emote Music with a dark, chuggy minimal remix. As the remix name would imply, Habersham drops the remix down a notch with a dark, disturbing reinterpretation of the original. 3) DisplayFM - Noodles The second original on the EP has a minimal melodic groove that is completely unique. Insanely complex layering of pads, vocal blips, melody and harmony comes together in a perfect package. 4) DisplayFM - Noodles (Oban Remix)The Colorado duo of John Templeton and Jacob Todd are back at it with the remix of Noodles. This version is a deeper and warmer counterpart to the original with a slightly techier groove and percussive feel.
