All the songs on Gotta Play are inspired by my personal experiences. Nothing has ever brought me more joy than the ability to communicate my emotions and ambitions throught music, and with the release of Gotta Play, I am finally able to share that with you. The title of my EP comes from lyrics in the first track, Tickling the Ivories: "I won't have it any other way, gotta play, gotta play, gotta play." My high school years have been the greatest (and most challenging) of my whole life, but I know that no matter how difficult life becomes, I can always rely on music to bring a smile to my face, a tear to my eye, and warmth to my heart. I hope that with my unique style that combines pop, rock, and blues, I can convey this feeling to you - that music is truly my life and passion.
