Heartstrings is the result of the combined musical efforts of Chapman Stick artists Matt Rogers and Mark White. Stick players are rare indeed; rarer still are Stick duos like Heartstrings. The sound of the two fretboard tapping instruments can be described as lush, rich, and deeply enchanting. This debut CD, "Days Gone By", is a riveting collection of romantic ballads. The styles range from classical to new age to contemporary love songs. The Chapman Stick seems to give a familiar song a stirring new voice when rendered across its strings.
