In this cannibal music, everything sounds remarkably organic, blending the electronic and the acoustic into a fluid whole. Côté has created a collection of fifteen inter-related situations. Vacant lots, a nostalgia for clockwork, lost eras, outmoded machinery, redundant melodies, the yellow smiles of faded images: 63 apparitions is a catalogue of spectral compositions and socratic glances. Martin Tétreault, Diane Labrosse, Christof Migone and Tiari Kese are helping Côté to create this strange and beautiful melange of percussion, electronics, piano, accordion, vocal manipulations and orchestral samples.
