简介
"Clementine Street," Jannel's first solo project, was recorded mostly live in a large 1930's living room with hard wood floors. The neighbors got a little upset one night when the band continued past 10:00 PM. So they politely quit and started up again the following morning. The whole experience gives "Clementine Street" that homegrown appeal often lacking in the current slick pop pro-tools era. "Clementine Street" is credited for getting Jannel's name out there to the listening public. 4 of the songs received airplay: "Clementine Street," "Okay You Win," "I Will Never" and the one that made some kind of chart somewhere at least in the royalties dept, "Under Your Breath". Clementine Street remains a performance favorite. Jannel just can't do a show with out it. Additionally, "One Sided Love" is a staple to Jannel's live shows. "Ok, You Win" co-written with Harriet Schock has been recorded by 5 different artists and has received national airplay in the US. Jannel still gets calls that someone has heard, "OK, You Win" when driving across country. All in all, a good project! "GINA for MISSING PERSONS," INC is an organization that Jannel created in her missing sister Gina's honor to help find missing children and adults. Regina "Gina" Bos disappeared Oct 17, 2000 from Lincoln, NE. To find out more about GINA for MISSING PERSONS, INC and Jannel go to Jannel.org
