This 2-CD set includes five works composed between 2001 and 2013 — a string trio, string quartet, variations for bass trombone, a duo for violin and bass trombone and Bullycide, a work for large chamber ensemble, inspired by the brutal murder of Matthew Shepard in 1998. The performers are the elite of the new music world and include Del Tredici's nephew, the phenomenal bass trombonist Felix Del Tredici.
