Wacko Fest's sound is best classified as Alt. Rock. Though our style varies from Modern Rock, Acoustic Rock, to Blues and Jazz, we feel we've reached a middle ground somewhere between it all. Our genre, our songs, our set-lists have no goal-oriented sound or feel, but rather just fall into place as something we, as a group, enjoy both playing and listening to. Major influences for the group span from artists such as The Black Keys, Dave Matthews Band, Jimi Hendrix, Freddie Hubbard, Modest Mouse, Dispatch, The Strokes and Chevelle.
