"MACH 12: Electronic Music by Carl Schroeder" is a collection of original electronic music written by Minnesota composer Carl Schroeder. The album's highlights include the shimmering "Javelin," the cinematic "Suite from 'Three Strikes and You're Out'" and the comic gem "A Day in the Life of a Starfish." ABOUT THE COMPOSER Composer Carl Schroeder of Minneapolis, Minnesota, a graduate of St. Olaf College, writes music for concert band, orchestra, choir, chamber ensembles, piano and electronics that is often inspired by American history and current events. His large ensemble music has been performed by more than 30 concert bands, orchestras and choirs including the Air Force Band of Mid-America and Ukraine's Chamber Choir Kyiv. He has received commissions from numerous ensembles and individuals, and four CDs of his music have been released.
