简介
I went into the studio last week and recorded this new song. During a recent trip to El Paso, I heard the story of Eva, a woman from Mexico whose husband, daughter, and infant grandson were brutally murdered by the Cartel. Her story reminded me of the billions of humans who courageously live lives of dignity and respect in the face of violence and oppression. The lyrics are also inspired by the marches of the Civil Rights era, and the reality that the journey is not over yet. As we commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr's "Letter from a Birmingham Jail," we would do well to again hear his prophetic words that "Injustice anywhere threatens Justice everywhere." In the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings, it's important to remember that Dr. King also reminded us that the moral arch of the Universe bends toward Justice. So, until that day... We March On. For Eva. For Boston. For Humanity. We March On. for more: www.facebook.com/timothypalmermusic
