简介
Timothy Palmer is a singer/songwriter who currently lives in Abilene, Tx. Drawing from his early experiences as the son of missionaries in the West Bank and on the island of Cyprus, Palmer's songs echo a sense of displacement and wandering. These songs are the songs of pilgrimage, longing, and, ultimately, redemption. March On, the first single off of Palmer's forthcoming album, The Half-Boy, bears witness to the power of walking together toward Justice and Peace. Shaped by the creative and non-violent responses to political, social, and religious oppression by the likes of Martin Luther King Jr and Gandhi, the lyrics elevate simple, compassionate, and genuine acts of solidarity with marginalized people as a way to move beyond bigotry and hate toward the kinship of humankind.
