简介

Ann Reynolds, the fourth of five children, was born in Jacksonville, Florida. When she was three, her family moved to Shellman, Georgia, where they resided until returning to Jacksonville when Ann was nine. During those six years in Randolph County, Georgia, Ann was a rather shy little girl, but looked forward to a special time of day, right after the noonday meal. That's when she went out into the field by herself, and while standing on a wagon, she lifted her voice in song to the heavens above, singing to her little heart's content. JESUS LOVES ME was one of her favorite songs, and remains so today. While attending Pleasant Grove Baptist, the seed for her love of gospel music was planted. The resonance of the songs filling that small church gave her such delight that she literally cried tears of joy. Ann may have been a bit reserved as a child, but she excelled in school, attaining the honor of Valedictorian of her class at Stanton High School in Jacksonville. She also attended the University of South Florida. This mother of three adult sons is active in her church, Bethel Baptist, where she has been under the ministry of Pastor Rudolph McKissick, Sr. and Pastor Rudolph McKissick, Jr. for the past three years. A people person, Ann has usually been associated with service-oriented positions all of her adult life, including the USPS. Ann doesn't allow any dust to gather under her feet; she is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator. In 1998, Ann was truly blessed by God's favor when she stepped out on faith at his calling with the anointed CD, SEND YOUR BLESSINGS DOWN. Ann uplifted the name of Jesus when she opened for Kim Burrell, Stellar nominated jazz gospel artist, at the ONE ACCORD GOSPEL TEMPLE during a dynamic deliverance service. Ann's voice delighted the audience with the upbeat sounds of SOMETHING ABOUT SWEET JESUS, VICTORY and the soul-touching beauty of a song entitled STANDING, all of which she co-wrote. She ministered her title track, SEND YOUR BLESSING DOWN, in Las Vegas, NV at the Bobby Jones Gospel Retreat. In 2002, Ann sang backup for Dorothy Norwood at the Super Gospelfest hosted by Clifton Davis, which aired on the BET Channel and other major network channels throughout the country. With a powerful and dynamic stage presence, Ann Reynolds captivates her audience and ushers in God's anointing to stir and soothe the human spirit. Ann states, "It's not about me, but it's all about lifting up the name of Jesus and we do that. His word declares that HE will draw all men unto HIM. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!"
