Mary Lydia's version of Harvest Moon is a result of her participation in a Songwriter's Circle at Seattle Drum School in 2009. Each performer was asked to include their rendition of a Neil Young song during their set. While leary of her ability to pull off one of his songs, her cover of Harvest Moon turned out to be a crowd pleaser then, and since, as she continues to add this song to her live performances.
