Paper Ships is Casey Stratton's 26th studio album in a 20 year period. The album explores concepts of connection, joy, love and contentment. Inspired by Eastern thought, the collection draws heavily on the Shoro Nagashi (Spirit Boat Processional) and the Buddhist concept of "Sukhavati" which is the land of bliss. Casey adds his new celtic harp to the instrument palette he uses, along with the standard piano, strings, oboe, synths, drums and percussion.
