EXPLOITED Records provide another multi-faceted mix of genres, eras, beats and cultures. Since 1995 CHERNOBYL has had a profound effect on the direction of Brazil's music scene. He is a pioneer and responsible for bringing Baile Funk (brazilian booty beat) to the world of rock through his band "Comunidade Nin-Jitsu", influencing Edu K to produce his world famous hit "Popozuda". Chernobyl discovered and signed Bonde do Role, produced their album, introduced them to Diplo (who released them on his Mad Decent label) and has produced 8 of the 12 tracks on their album ‘With Lasers‘, out on Domino Records. This year he released his solo debut EMPINA A PIPA on EXPLOITED with heavy support from Top DJS such as BRODINSKI, RIVA STARR, STYLE OF EYE, CROOKERS, RADIOCLIT, SOUND PELLEGRINO DJ-TEAM, ZOMBIE DISCO SQUAD, SHIR KHAN and many others. Now he is back with a new tropical release: "LE CHEVAL". While everybody uses Balkan Samples in Housemusic at the moment, CHERNOBYL realized that the south of Brazil has some similar sounds to offer. In the state of Rio Grande do Sule (which is close to Argentinia) musicians use the Accordion like in Tango music that reminds us of Eastern European Music. "LE CHEVAL" mixes this "GAUCHO"-stuff with a Baile Funk Beatbox and a cool contemporary Vibe. Think of an updated LAMBADA-Version for 2010:) Remixes to come from HORATIO (from Romania who did a d**e remix for RIVA STARR's I WAS DRUNK and is the new signing on RIVA STARR's label SNATCH!), YOLANDA BE COOL (who were responsible for the Top5-Beatport-Hit WE NO SPEAK AMERICANO) and LORCAN MAK (who killed it last year with GIPSY BUM). "HOOLY-GUN-YO" is a track with BAZOOKA BOOM (Maxim Nazarov, Julia Juicy and Ilya Knjazev) from Moscow, Russia. BAZOOKA BOOM normally write dirty raps about random stuff and make post-apocalyptic zombie pop with shameless samples and third-world beats. In HOOLY-GUN-YO they reveal their ironic russian gangsta face mixed up with CHERNOBYL´s music full of old folk russian elements. Maybe this is the f**king answer to DIE ANTWOORD.
