As you may have guessed from the title, “God Bless the Man Who Knows How to Use His Tools” is a playful celebration—with a fair share of double entendres—of the endlessly fascinating attraction between the sexes. Positive and upbeat, employing a variety of tempos and musical styles, the album is guaranteed to leave you with a smile on your face. (And if any of the songs inspire you to grab your sweetie and make mad, passionate, sensual love together, why, so much the better…) My songs are known for strong melodies (since I write them a cappella while doing other activities such as swimming laps, walking, driving or attempting to fall asleep), intelligent lyrics, and an affectionate, humorous outlook on life. I dedicated this particular album both to the wonderful men who have enriched my life and to the work of the PAX programs, founded by Alison Armstrong, which have deepened my understanding of and appreciation for who men are.
